Work is well under way with the planning of next years Hednesford Summer Festival. 2025 will be the 10th Anniversary of the Summer Festival and we hope to make it a day to remember. Following our recent post, we received some comments that people would like to get involved in volunteering at community events but weren't sure how to; so here is your opportunity; if you would like to get involved in either the planning or the delivery of the event then please email us. Volunteering towards this event can take many forms, whether it's supporting the marketing and social media, supporting the planning, working on the event management plan and liaising with key partners and authorities, marshalling on the day, supporting visitors at the information point, being a litter hero and ensuring the park is kept clean and tidy throughout, directing traffic and car park marshalling. There are so many opportunities to support your local community and maybe gain a little bit of experience and make new friends and contacts at the same time; so if you are interested or want to know more please email [email protected].
