You're making a difference locally and enabling our young members to make a positive impact in their world. You are inspirational.

The Movement for Good Award is a chance for charitable groups to get one of 3 £1000 donations over a year. It is done as a draw, and the more people who nominate the group, the more chances we have of receiving the funding. Can you help us by nominating our units? Calling all adventurous young women aged 14-18! 🎉 1st Heddon-on-the-Wall Rangers is accepting new members!

Get ready for a whole lot of fun, laughter, and unforgettable experiences! From planning epic camping trips to lending a helping hand to our community, there's something for everyone at Rangers. Plus, Rangers get to pick and choose the activities that they're most excited about! 🌟

So, if you know someone who'd love to be part of this amazing journey please let them know about our unit opening. Final preparations going on tonight for our Christmas Fayre tomorrow. Thank you again to The Swan at Heddon for hosting us, to our lovely raffle prize donors Forum Books, Queen's Hall Arts, Hexham, Beckleberry's, Alphabetti Theatre! We're excited to see lots of you there tomorrow, to help us raise money for experiences for the girls in our units, especially being part of Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne to support St Oswald's Hospice!

More preparations for our fayre this week, decorating marshmallow snowmen ⛄ come along to The Swan at Heddon on Tuesday, 5:30-7:15pm and help us raise money to support St Oswald's Hospice through their Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail and for activities for our girls.

It's official - we have a Rangers unit in Heddon-on-the-Wall! After requests from Guides who were turning 14 to set up a new Ranger unit, the Girlguiding section for 14-18 year olds, we're excited that we'll be able to also offer this opportunity to girls who are new to guiding in the new year. Our Rainbows were helping to prepare for our Christmas Fayre yesterday, decorating sweetie cones and putting together packs of reindeer food. Come along on Tuesday 16th December at The Swan at Heddon to help us raise money for activities for our Guides and to support St Oswald's Hospice by buying a statue for the Rainbows and Brownies to design for their Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne art trail!

As our Rainbows and Brownies are supporting St Oswald's Hospice through their Peter Rabbit: Tales on the Tyne trail next summer, our third raffle prize is very fitting! A huge thank you to Forum Books for this lovely donation. Come along to The Swan at Heddon on Tuesday 16th December for your chance to win this and our other raffle prizes! There'll also be Christmas crafts and snacks to buy, games to play, and our Guides will be there with chocolate dipped marshmallows and a teddy tombola to raise money for future trips too!
