Hello lovely community.

We are getting ready for the growing season over at our community allotment. We have a plan to grow lots of the basic veggies: Carrots, onions, peas, leeks, salad and even corn if we can get it to grow.
If anyone is interested in growing some fruit and veg with us this year drop us a message! We are looking for more people to come along and help in the process and also enjoy the produce.
You'd be welcome to have a go at growing something you use a lot of, using the space as much as you want and taking home delicious home grown veggies.

Hello! 👋 each year we do a litter pick in the area. This year the council is doing a joint one for Hebden, which will include a group who will walk up birchcliffe and to our area.. please see routes here: https://www.google.com/maps/d/edit?mid=1FDayzHs-ynlc2Na51UfiLn5O4xvpf_4&usp=sharing
This is a great opportunity to tidy up and get rid of all those nasty looking bits of rubbish that build up!
If you are unable to make it on Sunday we encourage people to go out in small groups and litter pick the estate and surrounding areas. Take gloves and bin bags, and if you don't have space in your bin, you can leave excess bags by the community centre bins. If you're interested in forming a small group and want to connect with others then feel free to get in touch!
Lets keep our local environment looking beautiful and clean 💪🌿🌿

🌿✨ Easter at DodPod Holiday Club ✨🌿

We’re really looking forward to welcoming children back for some springtime adventures in the woods this Easter.

Think campfires, den building, crafts, outdoor play and plenty of space to breathe, explore and connect.

📅 Dates: Monday & Tuesday
30th and 31st March
6th and 7th April

🕙 Time: 10am – 3pm

💷 £30 full price
£15 siblings / low income
Free funded places available

To any of you thinking about kids parties and looking for a venue.. here's a little reminder that we offer our multifunctional space out for 5 hours at £30 for childrens parties and events!
It has a kitchen with fully functioning cooker and oven! We also have reusable kids cups and plates for up to 15 children, some kitchen equipemt which is available to use, large and small folding tables and kids tables and chairs. We even have disco lights, fairly lights and bluetooth speakers easily accessible and ready to use. 🎉🎉
The total capacity is around 30 people (for a party setting!)
In summer time we have a garden area with play equipment and both concrete and grassy areas.
