Heaton's Fundraising Group (supporting Cancer Research UK) Heaton's Fundraising Group - Funding Local Research With support from friends, family and the local community the group has raised nearly £50,000.

The Heatons Fundraising Group was formed in 2010 and was set up to be ambassadors of Cancer Research UK and to raise money for research at the Paterson Institute in Manchester.. Its founder Jayne Whitaker has volunteered for the charity for over 6 years and has been involved in many aspects of the work of the charity. The Heatons Fundraising Group is made up of Jayne’s husband Rob, 2 Daughters Amy

and Katy, 2 Son in laws Jonathan and Tom and close friend Diane. The money is raised through social events, collections, a direct giving scheme “Because I Care”, a lottery based on the National Lottery bonus ball as well as donations from the community. Please support the group in any way you can – One day we will see a world free of cancer, the more we raise the quicker that day will be here.
