After numeroud warnings and signage on doors and windows, including this donation left under the sign that states No Donations to be left when closed as it could be classed as fly tipping or fire risk.
This has been treated as a fly tip and could result in a fine if the owner is located.

Thank you, but ignoring the sign will now result in a lot of the items being donated ending up in recycling or the bin, as we cant accept them. If you had waited until we had opened as the sign on the door clear states and where all the bags had been piled up, we could have informed you of this. We could then have advised you as to where you could have taken the items we cant take. So, your items could have been useful to others and not wasted your time in bagging the items up for donating.
Also, as our sign states, leaving items outside the shop when closed is a potential Fire Hazard and also blocking escape/access routes!
The volunteers, many elderly or have medical issues, have to then drag this lot inside and out to the back office to sort.
So, not sure why the sign that is clear on the door & the windows doesn't apply here????

Just a heads up folks!!

We should be getting the part couriered to us tomorrow (Saturday 22nd August).

Sorry for the inconvenience but we will try and get it up and running as soon as possible.

Whoever donated some boxes of decorations today. Please be aware there was a group of baby mice inside.
Unfortunately this meant they had to be despatched as they wouldn't have survived with out their mother.
Please, check bags especially if you have been storing them for a while. Volunteers don't enjoy finding living creatures inside.

Thank you for your donations.
But please, please do not leave bags/boxes outside our shop when we are not open. Especially Sundays/Monday
mornings.
This is not only a potential fire hazard ( it has been known for 'people' to set fire to bags/boxes for fun), it is actually fly tipping and you could be potentially fined as such if the Council could fine you, if they locate any details within the bags of who has dumped the bags outside the shop.

Do you have some spare time? We need a few people to check our donated puzzles. to make sure all the pieces are present. This allows us then to sell the puzzles as checked and complete, so avoiding disappointed customers getting to the end of completing a puzzle and finding a piece missing Grrrrrrrr!!!!!!

Do you have some spare time?
We need Puzzle Checkers for our Heathfield Shop.
We need some people to check our donated puzzles to make sure all the piece are present, so we are able to see them as checked and complete.

To the person that stole the pin badge from this card.
Thanks to you, this card can no longer be sold. So, the funds (regardless that it was only £4.49) will no longer go towards a good cause, such as the people in war torn Gaza. Obviously your 'need' for this badge was greater then theirs!

Heathfield Oxfam welcomes everyone to the shop and are happy to celebrate Pride.
The World would be a dull place if we didn't let people be who they are and allow everyone to sparkle in their own way.
Remember: The World is a better place with you in it and you are loved by someone and would be missed if you weren't here!.
So, be nice to people..its not that hard a thing to do!
