You may have noticed that our shop has been closed since Monday.

Unfortuntely, on Saturday afternoon, when closing up we noticed a significant crack in our shop ceiling, right above the door, and has now spread with hairline crackes all the way to the doors.

As such, we have been advised to close (temporarily), until we can get a a Oxfam building/H&S surveyor to review these cracks and decide if it is safe to open. It may be nothing but our customers and volunteers safety is paramount.

Until, we re-open, you may see volunteers within the shop. This is because we are working in the back office, sorting & pricing donations. This is so, we can re-fill/re-stock the shop and get all our stock in order in prepareness for the approaching....Christm.....sshhhhh......season!!!

It’s Le Marché week, and we’ve given one of our windows a Parisian makeover!
Step into the spirit of France with our beautifully dressed display: a cosy two-person wine tasting table set in the heart of Paris, surrounded by rustic garlic, a classic red beret, and a proud Gallic rooster (a big merci to Trading 4 U!).

Behind it all, you’ll spot two lovely paintings — one capturing the charm of a small Burgundian winery, and the other showing a bustling bouchon restaurant scene.

We'll be open on Mon 25th August from 9am till 2pm! While the items in the window aren’t for sale this week, we’d love for you to pop in, soak up the atmosphere, and have a friendly chat with our team. À bientôt!
