Not all heroes wear capes 💛
A huge WOLO congratulations and thank you to Kirsty Belton, Bo, Josh and Danny Belton, who hosted an incredible Quiz Night at Horam Village Hall on Friday evening.
With more than 100 people attending and over 350 raffle tickets sold before the event, the Belton family worked tirelessly within their local community to raise awareness of WOLO, sell tickets, and bring people together for a fantastic cause.
The result?
An amazing £2,094 raised for local families facing cancer.
What a special moment it is to see such kind, caring people championing our work. Fundraising events like this make a real difference and remind us how powerful community support can be.
As a small team of just five people, there are only so many places we can be at once. While we’re focused on supporting families through some of the most challenging times of their lives, incredible supporters like the Belton family help us continue that work by raising funds and spreading awareness in their own communities.
A heartfelt thank you to Kirsty, Bo, Josh and Danny, and to everyone who donated, bought raffle tickets, attended the quiz night, and helped make the event such a success.
This is exactly the kind of community fundraising we need more of.
If you’ve ever thought about supporting WOLO through your own event, we’d love to hear from you. Whether it’s a quiz night, coffee morning, raffle, bake sale, golf day, sponsored challenge, charity walk, school fundraiser, or something completely different, every pound raised helps us support local families living with cancer.
