Shipley Country junior parkrun

🙌🏻 A b o u t S u n d a y . . . 🤩

What a great day we had! The sun was out ☀️ the roster was full 📝 and the ducks had come to visit 🦆

🏁 51 junior parkrunners crossed the finish line
🌱 5 juniors joined us for their first ever junior parkrun
✈️ 4 juniors visited us for a bit of junior parkrun tourism
🏆 19 juniors had a sunshiney spring in their step and bagged themselves a course PB
💜 27 volunteers made all of this possible
🦆 One gigantic duck & one volunteering monkey 🐒 we’re all part of the fun too!

⚠️ We have no event next Sunday (21st June) as the annual Food & Drink fair is on in the park ⚠️

We will be back to business as usual the following week (28th June) so mark your calendars and come and join us for some more junior parkrun fun 🤩

🤩 We are super excited to see that our friends cafe at junior parkrun has got a new friend for us to meet 🦆

Now you’ve got even more reason to come along for some junior parkrun fun 🙌🏻

⚠️ EVENT CANCELLED - 31/05/26 ⚠️

Here is your Saturday night reminder that we have no junior parkrun at Shipley Country Park tomorrow as there is another event on in the park.

We will be back to business as usual next Sunday and look forward to seeing lots of you there 🙌🏻

Last Sunday was a warm one Shipley Country Park!

Run Director Jonny ensured all of our runners were safe, along with our wonderful volunteers - many of whom volunteered for their first time, or came from other parkruns to support our plea for support.

🏁 42 juniors crossed the finish line
🎉 7 juniors ran their very first Junior parkrun
🧡 7 juniors ran for the first time at Shipley Juniors
🏆 9 juniors bagged themselves a PB!!!
💙 2 milestones achieved!

And all made possible by an amazing team of 28 hi-via hero’s 💜

This Sunday we are cancelled due to another run being held in the park, but if you can volunteer in June, we'd love to have you - just drop us a message.

Yesterday was a super busy one Shipley Country Park! We had our highest attendance since event number 9!

RD Dennis did a great job ensuring everyone was where they needed to be and all of our volunteers did a great job to put on a fantastic event.

🏁 70 juniors crossed the finish line
🎉 15 juniors ran their very first Junior parkrun
🧡 6 juniors ran for the first time at Shipley Juniors
🏆 19 juniors bagged themselves a PB!!!
💙 with places 1 and 2 being the Cooper brothers, who both got PBs!

And all made possible by an amazing team of 25 hi-via hero’s 💜
