Big whoops for Derbyshire Makes A great festival to be part of on our doorsteps!
We spy a bit of Val & Trev antics captured in Heanor and Glossop!
We have loved bringing bants, fashion tips and community connected making with many incredible makers in the Community Living Room for the second year 🙌

Bring on year 3!!!

Big up to the Heanor festival Community living room line up who brought the making magic by the bucket load….the awesome Upcycling Allstars ⭐️(Wendy Ducksbury, Lise Bennett, Netty from The Ripple Effect and Jan Bradshaw). The Crich share and repair wonders from Transition Crich and the one and only Swanwick Men's Shed at Turner Farm Project and all made possible in collab with We are Make/Shift / Furthest from the Sea Music, Comedy & Arts & Listening Shelf Audio 🙏🙏🙏

STORY CHEFS DISH A DAY, DAY 6: Rice Bolboli 🍙

It's the final day of our Cooking Channel launch 'Dish A Day' reveals, in honour of Refugee Week. And we're ending on a high!

Our lovely Soraya is teaching us how to cook Nanny’s Rice Bolboli, a hearty rice dish with black eyed peas from Iran.

Inspired by family meals at Nanny’s house, Soraya describes this dish as ‘a big hug’.

We can definitely feel the love 🥰

STORY CHEFS DISH A DAY, DAY 5: Freedom Falafels. 🧆

This dish is a real Story Chefs favourite. Nasrin has taught a whole host of people, at events and cooking classes over the past year or so, how to cook this flavourful Middle Eastern street food.

And now she's bringing her recipe to our cooking channel!

Most people have tasted falafel. But, trust us - you've tasted NOTHING until you've tasted falafel inspired by freedom mountain climbs in Iran. ⛰️
