Would you like to get more involved in your local community? 🙋

Headington Action is looking for volunteers! 🙌

A little about us: Headington Action is a charity working to benefit everyone who lives, works and studies in Headington. We team up with residents, local organisations and the council to promote the area, boost civic pride, and get stuck into community projects and environmental improvements. 🏘️

We run initiatives like the weekly Headington market, the Headington Festival, the Community Activities Guide, the hanging flower baskets and Christmas lights, our greening projects, and the ongoing work of the Neighbourhood Plan... and so much more! You'll find there are so many ways to get stuck in.

⏰ Flexible from the start - you choose how much time you give and when. Got a specific skill? Great. Just willing to pitch in? Also great!

📅 Come find out more:
Volunteer meeting, Monday 28th September, 7:00pm

Nervous to start a new activity alone? We've got you! 🤝

Loads of activities during OX3 Community Activities Week have a buddy system in place, so you're never walking in solo.

What's a "buddy"? Just a friendly face there to help you feel welcome. 👥

They might: 👇
🚪 Meet you at the entrance
🪑 Show you where to sit or store your things
💬 Explain what happens in the session
👋 Introduce you to others
