To support our Explorer scout Deyna Lynch, going to Poland in 2027 for the World Scout Jamboree, we are holding a clothing collection to raise funds.

Please see the attached to see if you have any unwanted items you might like to donate, as we would very much appreciate any help you can give.

Drop off at the scout hut on any section night and the 15th & 22nd April.

A special shout‑out to our incredible female leaders and volunteers who give their time, energy and hearts to creating fun, safe and memorable experiences for our young people. You inspire confidence, kindness and resilience every single week.

Whether you’re cheering from the sidelines, helping behind the scenes, or leading from the front—we couldn’t do Scouting without you.

⭐ And let’s talk about our Young People… ⭐
Your young people are amazing — curious, funny, brave, full of ideas, and occasionally full of mud.�They keep us on our toes, make every session an adventure, and give Scouting its heart and soul.
�We’re honoured to watch them grow (sometimes in confidence, sometimes just in height).

They really are a credit to you — even on the days they arrive with two left shoes. 😉

⚜️ Happy Founders Day! ⚜️

From a camp on Brownsea Island to a global movement of over 50 million Scouts in 216 countries — the adventure continues.

Today we celebrate the vision and birthdays of Lord Robert Baden-Powell and Baroness Olave Baden-Powell, who created Scouting and Guiding. But we also recognise the volunteers who keep that spirit alive right here in our community.

At, 3rd Hazel Grove we’re especially proud as we celebrate. For over half a century, our volunteers have brought adventure to life for our Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs and Scouts.

Every campfire memory.
Every hike.
Every badge earned.
It all started with someone giving their time.

Here’s to 69 years of adventure.
Here’s to our volunteers.
Here’s to 3rd Hazel Grove Scouts.

Santa is on His Way……….

This year 3rd Hazel Grove Scout Group & Bullock Smithy Explorer Scouts, together with other local community groups, are bringing Father Christmas and his Float to Hazel Grove in December.

Wednesday 3rd Dec; Arundel Ave, Lyndhurst Ave & Warwick Drive
Thursday 4th Dec; Carlton Place Tannock Road, Cherry Tree Drive
Sunday 7th Dec: Mill Lane & Chatsworth Rd Area.
Monday 8th Dec; Newby Road /Bramhall Moor Lane.
Tuesday 8th Dec; Bakewell Rd, Lyme Rd & Haddon Rd Area Wednesday 10th Dec; Avondale Ave, Brinkburn Rd & Deneside Crescent Area
Thursday 11th Dec; Racecourse estate Area.
Sunday 14th Dec; Dorchester Rd, Stokesay Drive & Aldwyn Cres.
Tuesday 16th Dec; Dean Lane & Cavendish Rd Area
Wednesday 17th Dec; Beech Ave, Queen’s Rd & Commercial Rd.

There will be designated ‘Santa stops’ along the way where children can talk to Father Christmas. A cash/card donation would be most appreciated, with the collection this year going to;
