We are a military sponsored organisation with the RAF Air Cadets. We are aviation minded but have access to a variety of different activities that are fun.

We recruit new cadets ranging from the ages of 12 (must be in Year 8) through to 17.

🏆 Promotion Announcement 🏆

As we kick off the year, we’re excited to start it with a well-earned promotion!

Congratulations to Sergeant Barr, who has successfully passed his promotion application. After running multiple nights and planning engaging activities, he has proven himself a valuable leader, and we’re proud to welcome him to our SNCO team.

Well done, Sergeant - we look forward to seeing what you bring to 2026!

🎄 Happy Holidays from all of us at 1900 West Cornwall Squadron! 🎄

Earlier this month, we celebrated the season at our annual Christmas dinner, where we came together as a squadron to reflect on and celebrate all our achievements throughout the year.

We would like to say a thank you to our staff, cadets, and Civ Com for their dedication and hard work over the past year, and all that we have achieved in 2025.

As the new year approaches, we look forward to everything 2026 has to offer. We wish everyone a safe and joyful holiday break, and we look forward to seeing you all soon! 🎉

🌺 Remembrance Sunday 2025 🌺

Yesterday, the Cadets proudly took part in the Hayle Remembrance Service and Parade, joining the local community in honouring those who gave their lives in service to our country.

Our Cadets proudly carried the banners with great pride and respect - Sgt Woollard carrying the Squadron Banner, Cpl Pratley the Royal British Legion Banner, and Cpl Warner the Town Banner - each representing both the Squadron and the wider community.

Marching alongside veterans, serving personnel, and community groups, our Cadets represented the Squadron with pride and respect. Their presence and conduct truly reflected the values of the Air Cadets and the spirit of remembrance.

🌺Poppy Selling🌺

In the two weeks leading up to Remembrance Sunday, Cadets from the Squadron proudly supported the Royal British Legion’s Poppy Appeal by selling poppies at M&S in Hayle. Together, they helped raise vital funds to support veterans, serving personnel, and their families - a cause that means a great deal to us all.

Well done to all our Cadets for their dedication and hard work over the past two weeks. Their efforts have made a real difference and are a shining example of the community spirit and respect at the heart of the RAF Air Cadets.

✈️Hayle Civic Parade ✈️

On Sunday, a number of our cadets proudly took part in the Hayle Civic Parade, representing the Squadron with great pride. Cadets marched through the town alongside other local organisations before attending a service at the parish church.

A special well done to Cpl Warner, who was nominated by the Squadron to deliver a poem during the service and also carried the Town Council banner. Also, well done to Sgt Woollard for representing the Squadron by carrying the Squadron banner, both did an excellent job!

An additional well done to all cadets involved, you represented the Squadron brilliantly in front of the public, and should be proud of the example you set.

We’re proud to announce the well-deserved promotion of Flight Sergeant B Clifford!

Through consistent hard work, dedication, and outstanding contributions to the squadron, FS Clifford has demonstrated the leadership and commitment we value deeply. After successfully completing an interview with our Sector Commander, he has earned his new rank.
