The Nurture Project CIC

The Nurture Project is a not-for-profit Forest School & Community Garden.

A non-for-profit organisation, nurturing wellbeing, and connecting people and nature through positive outdoor social and educational experiences. We offer a range of; youth work, forest school sessions, gardening, food growing & nutritional education, and environmental arts & crafts, movement & music in nature. Sessions are based at our site in Haydon Bridge, and our outreach activities are availa

ble anywhere in Northumberland. We can design a bespoke package to suit your needs, delivering forest school sessions at your site, or assisting you to establish and grow your own sustainable garden and food. Family and community sessions are part of our weekly programme, and we offer bespoke packages to community groups and schools, delivering both one to one sessions for individuals with SEND or those pupils who struggle to access formal education, to group activities and whole class sessions.

Nets of seasoned logs available to collect at Nurture Community Garden during public opening hours. Or call Neil @ Practical Services, who donate our firewood to warm the yurt and hive over winter during our educational and community sessions 🙏💚🔥

Summer Holiday Sessions @ Nurture Community Garden will be running over 4 weeks, from Monday 27th July - Thursday 20th August.

Join us to connect with nature and each other:

The Community Garden is open to the public on Tuesdays & Wednesdays 3.00-4.30pm for all ages, everybody welcome (under 16's must be supervised by an adult) These are drop in sessions, no need to book! With thanks to The National Lottery Community Fund

Our fun filled Summer Holiday Clubs Community Garden will be running during the summer holidays: weeks 2,3,4,5, Mondays - Thursdays. These are drop off sessions for children aged 5-16. (We will be advertising some family stay & play sessions shortly!)
