National Doughnut Week made for a fun evening with Hawks Cubs. We decorated doughnuts, drew doughnut cartoons, wrote emails to another Cub pack (all about doughnuts 😄) and tried to eat doughnuts on a string (with a lot of giggling at the leaders trying to do it).

2 weeks of fun teaching Archery to the Beavers, one of our Cub packs and one of our Scout troops. All did fantastic.

2nd Haxby and Wigginton have completed one week of archery training. Hawks Cubs really enjoyed their first session tonight. Thanks to Dan and John for an exciting evening, we can't wait until next week for the archery competition to begin.

Hawks Cubs are working towards their space badge. We turned the scout hut into the international space station. Cubs learned about working in confined spaces, doing technical jobs in a space suit and living with zero gravity. They also started designing their own rockets to build next week.
