What a fabulous evening on Wednesday and what a real treat to have local author Mark Stibbe talk to us about his experience of both adoption and boarding school.
So much happens at the WI with lots of subgroups run by our members.
There is a craft group, walking group, book club and lunch club . The book club went to the cinema this month to see a film on one of the books they had read, This proved so popular that it maybe something that becomes a regular event.

Just a reminder , there will be another Hawkinge WI members walk on Saturday 14th November. We will meet in Sandgate, just before the start of the promenade , at the end of the fisherman's cottages. We will be walking to Hythe along the seafront, stopping for coffee and then walking back along the canal . Alternatively, there is the option to walk one way and get a bus back . If you need anymore details please message via the page. Hope to see you there. Melinda and Judith :)
