Makers at the Moor

14/09/2026

Friends of Hawkhurst are sending a big thankyou to all our stallholders, everyone who came along on the day (and the weather!) for another fabulous year for Makers@the Moor.

It was a really lovely atmosphere, you brought your talents and it was busy all day 🙂

By having a stall, buying tea and cake 🍰 we can do more good things for Hawkhurst village. It means we can cover costs and put on activities for free, such as playday for families, seniors tea, crafts and trails for Easter and Xmas 🎄. It takes a lot to fund them so THANKYOU for supporting us and Hawkhurst.

What’s next? Hawkhurst Life (our quarterly magazine) comes out soon 🙂

Friends of Hawkhurst is a local charity run entirely by volunteers for the purpose of making it a better place to live.
