Xmas message from our Chair, Councillor Marshall:

"Good morning members,

Just a wee email to say once more a huge thank you to you all for your support to the town during 2024.

Our flood defences may well be complete and with the forecast during the festive period looking in our favour there should be no real concerns to the town.

We will however remain committed to supporting the residents within the Crowbyers area as and when necessary, and of course anyone who may suffer localised flooding issues .

I intend to arrange a quick catch up of the group around early February

(If we aren't required before then).

Conor Price is intending coming along to the next meeting of Hawick Community Council in early January and will I'm sure provide a full update of the Scheme's progress so far.

Once again, a huge thank you to each and everyone of you for your commitment to the group during the past year and may I take this opportunity to wish both you and your families a very Happy and Peaceful Christmas.

See you all in 2025.

Best regards

Stuart

Chairman"
