At the AGM on 9th December, Graeme Hodgins was elected President.
Graeme Tinlin was elected Vice President.

The Hawick Callants Club Arts Education Scheme is a registered charity providing local piano lessons, funded by the scheme.
We currently have two additional places available to anyone wishing to take up piano in the town. Pm us if interested in this unique opportunity.
We are also seeking additional piano teachers on an ongoing basis.

This is to notify members that the Club AGM has been changed from original date of Tuesday 2nd December. The new date for the Clubs Annual General Meeting is Tuesday 9th December at 7:30pm in The Border Club.

Entertaining Cornet Jack Scott

The Council of the Club have arranged to entertain Cornet Jack Scott at a Smoker in the Town Hall on the evening of Friday, 16th May, commencing at 8.00pm.

Admission by ticket only, is limited to members who each have the privilege of inviting one guest, who must be accompanied personally by the member who has invited him. Members’ tickets (price £5) and Guest tickets (£5) are obtainable only from the Treasurer or Dorwards. The names of the guests must also be recorded when tickets are issued.

Members may have the chance to take more than one guest. Extra tickets will be available from Monday 12th May and will be issued on a first come first served basis. Members wishing to purchase extra tickets must do so only through Hon Treasurer Derick Tait by contacting him on 07908 137656 or by emailing [email protected].

In the event that the Smoker is over subscribed, allocation of tickets will be on a first come basis.

The Treasurer has asked that all tickets are paid for prior to The Smoker.

Bar facilities have been arranged and the ticket will include the cost of a pie and sandwiches to be served during the evening.

Members are requested to wear the Club Badge.

As has become traditional, the vice president placed a wreath on the Passchendaele silhouettes in Wilton Lodge Park, Hawick on the 11th day of the 11th month. We will remember them.
