Haverhill and District Flower Club

Haverhill and District Flower Club In 2013 our Club is celebrating its 50th Anniversary. We are a friendly Club and meet at Haverhill Arts Centre on the first Monday of the Month.

Haverhill and District Flower Club, is celebrating its 50th Anniversary in 2013. The Club started up in March 1963 and has grown from strength to strength. We are affiliated to the East of England Area Association of NAFAS (National Association of Flower Arrangement Societies). NAFAS is a registered charity and in 2009 will be celebrating its Golden Anniversary. We are a friendly Club, with over 5

0 members, with a big heart just waiting to welcome you to our meetings so that you can share the joy of flowers. It is a myth that you have to be a flower arranger to join a Club; many of our members had no experience at all when they joined. Soon you will gain knowledge just by watching our wonderful demonstrators or by taking part in the workshops that we regularly organise. For those that do take up the challenge, a new world opens to them. Many hours we have shared taking part in Flower Festivals, Competitions or fundraising for our Club. We meet at Haverhill Arts Centre on the first Monday of the month, the complete programme for next year is displayed on this website. Visitors are always welcome. At each meeting we have a NAFAS demonstrator, followed by light refreshments and the floral displays created, are raffled at the end of the evening.
