REMINDER - no car boot on the Rec this Sunday the 2nd - moved to the 16th - see you then ☺️

Hello Haverhill!!!

Firstly, thank you to everyone who came to the Car Boot at the Haverhill Show a couple of weeks ago, we hope you had a great day, we certainly did!!!

Secondly, and very importantly, for several reasons including a special birthday celebration and an unmissable opportunity, we are going to have to move the next car boot back by 2 weeks to the 16th of August (The Rec is not available on the 9th).

We are really sorry to have to do this but despite exploring all the options, we simply don't have enough people to steward the original date and rather than cancel, this was the best option, we really hope you understand.

If you can't make the new date, the next one will be Sunday 6th September and we hope to see you there instead.

Thank you for your support and we'll see you in a month.

The countdown has begun and it looks like the weather is going to play along this year ☺️
Just a few reminders for Sunday for those coming to sell…
Set up is between 6am and 7am - due to everything else we have to get on the Rec before 9, entry will close at 7am.
Please listen to the stewards’ instructions, they are all volunteers so please be patient while they get you to the next available pitch and, most importantly of all, be kind!!!
Sorry, no gazebos or similar structures. Anyone who tries to put one up will be asked to take it down & may be asked to leave.
The toilets are in the brick building at the bottom of the Rec & will be open from 6am.
Early departure is allowed from 1pm. Please do not move your vehicle without talking to a marshal who will steward you on the departure route - this is for everyone’s safety including yours.
White's catering will be setting up alongside the car boot at 6am so refreshments will be available as they are at a normal car boot sale, thank you Kev.
Finally, don’t forget the sunscreen & please stay hydrated, we want everyone to have a really good day!!!

Evening all ☺️
As always, things are a little different for the Car Boot at the Haverhill Show. We have a lot of stalls and attractions to get sited in just over 2 hours from 7am for the Show itself so please don't be late, we'd hate for you to miss out.
Please follow the stewards instructions closely as there is a different layout for the Show so we can fit everyone on. Please use your hazard lights while in motion and keep your speed at 5mph maximum.
There will be an exit route for anyone wishing to leave from 1pm but you must talk to a steward in a branded show hi-viz or visit the control tent at the crosspaths in the middle of the Rec before moving your vehicle as it is essential that you are marshalled off the Rec to keep everyone safe.

Thank you to everyone who had faith in us and the forecast today ☺️ It was a great turnout & we hope everyone had a good time.
Just a reminder, the next Car Boot Sale will be part of the Haverhill Show on Sunday 5th July. More details in the coming weeks but the biggest one is that Car Boot seller arrivals must be between 6am & 7am as we have so many things to place on the Rec in the following 2 hours.

Our booters have turned out in force so there’s lots to see (& buy 😉). White's catering are here with breakfast & Haverhill Ice Cream & Dessert Vans will be here later for that sweet treat 💕

Due to unforeseen circumstances, we are a couple of marshals short for the car boot sale at the Rec this Sunday ☹️ We know that 6.30am is early on a Sunday but it would only be for a couple of hours and there would be a free bacon butty and hot drink for you when you're done, then you can wander round and grab yourself a bargain or two. Please, please, please can you help?
