We are launching the Be a Star present appeal to give children and young people gifts at Christmas time. All recipients will have been referred to us. We thank Peasgood & Skeates Funeral Directors, The Works, Aldi agreeing to be collection points. There is also a box at The Link. Memories are Golden have a Giving tree where you can take a label to get a specific gift for a young person.

Exciting things are happening! Following on from the good work Jamie and Matilda Rose did for children in Haverhill they are now supporting Haverhill Community Care and The Thrive Hub, The Salvation Army are going to continue supporting gift collections for children.

📱 Could you help us make a difference to digital inclusion in Haverhill?

The Link is working together with Stourview Wellbeing Centre to help people who may be struggling to access or use technology.

♻️ The Link is collecting old mobile phones to be refurbished and given a new purpose, helping people who may not have access to a suitable device.

📋 At Stourview, we’re also carrying out a short Digital Inclusion Survey to understand what support people in Haverhill actually need — whether that’s help using a phone, accessing apps, getting online, repairing a device or learning new digital skills.

The survey can be completed for yourself or on behalf of someone else and only takes a few minutes.

Sorry for the serious post but we really do need your help for the Show to go ahead. We've had several offers of help but only a few confirmations and with only 3 days to go, being at bare minimum, it's a big worry. We always put our heart and soul into our preparations as do our attractions, traders, crafters and local good causes and the very last thing we want to do is disappoint. This show brings our brilliant community together but we really need your help to make it a great one!!!
Please get in touch if you're over 18 and can spare an hour to marshal the car boot cars on at 6am, help with placing stallholders between 7 & 9, a couple of hours making tea and serving cakes in the Tea Tent from 10am onwards or helping us clear up from 4pm, every little really will does make a difference. Thank you.

Customers from The Link got together and arranged to go on a Felix Coach trip to Southwold. For some it was their first trip out of Haverhill for 5 years. Next trip is being discussed 😁👍
