Hi Everyone, Welcome to Pembrokeshire Care Share & Give which is a Non Profit Charity ( Charity No 1175646) that has been set up to try and help lots of people in need, groups and charities, mainly within Pembrokeshire, but can also cover other areas of UK. The charity was set up by Amanda Absalom-Lowe of Haverfordwest in 2011 to get the word out that most things are recyclable and it can raise
money for charity along the way. she raised awareness of recycling and sustainablilty since 2011 and asked people to help by starting to recycle their household rubbish or Business rubbish, like crisp packets, sweet wrappers, any brand biscuit wrappers, any brand yogurt and baby food pouches, air freshener tops & Air freshener Plug in’s. along with your used stationary, used Postage Stamps and so much more! Due to loosing the building the charity was working the terracycle recycling initiative was transfered over to Norman Industries in Sept 2021 where they continue the scheme. Any Unwanted things like clothes, shoes, unwanted household items ( NOT white goods or large furniture items), Bric a Brac, Toys and lots more was also collected! Any good clothes , shoes, Bric a Brac etc donated new, like new or good condition items may be sold on auctions , groups, carboots etc and anyone can make a purchase, offer or bid. The money raised is then granted to charities, or food, toiletries and household items are bought for those in need. New toys are bought for various Xmas Toy appeals which are donated to Patch Charity, 3 Amigos and The Hospital Children’s Ward within Wales, Including The Children Hospital in Bristol. Second hand and good quality toys are also donated to the Ronald Macdonald House for their xmas toy sale. A great deal of items are also donated to charities, like raffle prizes and Items taken to charity shops to sell. Old Tatty clothes or rags can now be donated to local charity shops who can weigh them in to get cash. If you have any unwanted house hold items New or Used to donate, these can also these can be donated to Patch charity, dezza cabin or families needing new items due to unfortunate fires and loosing their home. we also need donations of personal care donations like toothbrushes, toothpastes, soaps, shower gel, shampoo, combs, brushes, flannels, socks, knickers, t shirts and so much more for our homeless and emergency rainbow packs or those in need and are then made up ready to donate when needed to local foodbanks, charities, Hospitals. other Items are also donated to help people start up their own home. In the past we have also purchase goodies to send Small goodie Boxes to our Heros, on deployment away from their families. Sometimes items donated are re-used to help Community or School programmes like a Sensory Garden or a buddy bench or painting etc. We even help Animal Rescue Centres! 1. To contribute to the conservation, protection and improvement of the physical and natural environment in Pembrokeshire in particular by
a) promoting sustainable waste management through the recycling of waste which may otherwise go to landfill and
b) advancing the education of the public in Pembrokeshire concerning recycling and waste management through a programme of talks, seminars, workshops and other means and
c) providing recycling opportunities to the public, businesses, statutory authorities and educational establishments.
2. Relieve those in need, by reason of youth, age, ill-health, disability, financial or other disadvantage in particular by the provision of grants or donation of items to individuals or to charitable organisations supporting those in need; and
3. To relive the suffering of animals in need of care and attention in particular by the provision of grants or donation of items to animal sanctuaries. please continue to support us Thank you .
