Do you live in Gosport and want to brush up your money skills?

Next week, Citizens Advice Gosport (in partnership with Work out your Money) will be running a free Financial Skills workshop session, on Tuesday the 18th of November at Your Space in the High Street.

Your space is an accessible and welcoming community hub. Come along and refresh your knowledge, learn new skills, boost your confidence and feel empowered to make positive decisions around your money. This session is suitable for all and there is no need to book.

Find out how to budget and maximise your income, prioritise your spending and even pick up some tips on easy ways to save. Our friendly team can help you to make the most of the money you have and access any additional support and advice, if you need it. No need to book, just come along and join in.

Today, our teams attended the Havant Youth Hub Open Day.

This was for young people to come along and meet local providers, take part in activities and chat about employment and volunteering, work placements and training, health and wellbeing. 😍🙂

It was a very worthwhile event, busy from start to finish with fantastic young people (16-24 yrs) attending. We caught up with lots of community partners, who we look forward to working with in the future.

As always, it was good to raise awareness about our advice service and specialist project work in the community and schools, opportunities to volunteer and reinforce, we are here for anyone who needs us.

⭐️ Along the way, we helped young people with their Government Child Trust Funds and take some important steps to maximise their income. We shared our top tips for winning at life which covers essential skills for budgeting, banking, borrowing, working, wellbeing and saving!

Thank you so much to the team at Havant Borough Council for the invitation, it was an extremely valuable day.
