What a lovely surprise we had at our last market this morning thanks to Olivia Vernon, the granddaughter of Dorothy , one of our longest serving members. She got in touch with High Peak Comps & told them we were closing after 36yrs & they sent us all a bunch of flowers , what a kind & thoughtful thing to do ❤️

A HUGE thank you to everyone who came to our last ever market, it was very busy but the feedback & appreciation we received was overwhelming.
We will miss the friends we have made but I'm sure we'll bump into each other from time to time. Thank you for taking the time to bring us cards & chocolates it just shows how special our customers are.
Have a Great Christmas & a happy and healthy 2026.

It is with great sadness that after 36yrs , the time has come to hang up our aprons , put away the oven gloves & call it a day for the Country Market.
Due to family commitments, health & old age !!! , 4 of our bakers & our lovely plant lady, Pam, have all taken the decision to retire at Christmas, this means the market can no longer run with the few members that remain.
We will still be here on Dec 5th & 19th and we would love to see as many of you as possible to thank you personally for all your support, encouragement & friendship over the years.
Thank you for turning up to every market , standing in the queue in the heat, rain, frost & cold to buy your favourite goodies or try something new, thanks for buying plants to make your garden beautiful, thanks for supporting the crafts by buying gifts for people or just to treat yourself.
Thank you to everyone who have become friends & for making the market a place to meet , laugh & catch-up for a chat.
We will miss all of that but hope you can understand our decision.
