The Book Project

The Book Project We are a student led project at The University of Hertfordshire, working to get more people to enjoy Welcome to The Book Project!

We are a student led project with the University of Hertfordshire Student Union. Help organise book collections, book recycling, book swaps, organising events and activities on campus and in the local community, including schools and nurseries, to support education such as storytelling, literacy, donating books and supporting World Book Day.

Thanks to everyone who came out to support us on World Book Day!

It was a success, selling out all the books we had. All the proceeds from today will be given to Free Books Hatfield later this week. Thanks again to the Uni of Herts Library staff for all the support and collaboration!

Thanks to everyone who came out to the Refreshers Fair and stopped by our table!

All the money we raised today through our blind date books will be going to a charity, if any of you have suggestions for charities, please let us know.
