This week the Cubs finished working on their Navigator Badge. They didnt let the dark or the rain stop them. Luckily the clouds cleared at the end and they were able to learn to navigate by the stars.

Ready for the 960th anniversary of the battle next week.
In case you missed out on British Museum tickets, 24th Hastings Jellyroll Beavers have made our own version of the Bayeux Tapestry.
Amazing teamwork and creative illustrations.

Rawhide Beavers decided to spend our session this week at Hastings Country Park where we enjoyed a beautiful hike 🥾across the firehills with just enough time left to fly our kites 🪁from last week once again.
We were blessed with such a perfect evening! 🌅

Thank you to the adults who joined us 🙌 it was much appreciated to have extra 👀 😊

Rawhide Beavers had an absolute blast last night when we all made kites and then successfully flew them outside! 🪁💨
They were absolutely brilliant & made a fabulous sight for everyone to see at the end of the session!
Amazing work Beavers!

Here are a few little snippets from our last few sessions with our SEND Scout group! 🥰❤️

We absolutely LOVE these sessions and seeing the children grow in confidence, have fun, try new things and, most importantly, just be themselves! 🌟

We’ve even started handing out some badges along the way — Artist 🎨, Chef 👩‍🍳, Gardener 🌱 and many more to come!

Our next session is 3rd October, and we would love to welcome more families. If you think this group could be beneficial for your child, or you know someone who might enjoy being part of it, please do get in touch with us at:

We’re just a few Scout Leaders some who work in SEND environments who wanted to create something a little different and make a positive difference. Seeing the smiles, achievements and friendships makes every minute worth it. ❤️

Here’s to many more adventures, achievements and happy memories together! 🥰⚜️

Rawhide Beavers had a lovely return tonight with some really thoughtful work towards what a code of conduct actually means and looks like - I think us adults were all really impressed with how well they engaged!
And then we played some favourite games and learned a new one courtesy of our young leader 😊
