Fellowship of St Nicholas (FSN) welcomes Counselling Plus Community to St Leonards Hub

Well-known and respected, local charity, the Fellowship of St Nicholas (FSN) has announced that local mental health charity Counselling Plus Community (CPC) will relocate to its St Nicholas Centre in St Leonards from 1st September 2026.

It is a collaborative move that brings two established charities together under one roof, strengthening the support services FSN delivers for children, young people and families across the area.

CPC will continue to operate its independent, effective and professional therapy to adults and young people (16+) in Hastings, Rother and the wider East Sussex area from its new home on London Road.

FSN’s CEO, Angelica McMillan says:

“I am so pleased that FSN and CPC will be working more closely together. We have been building towards combining our respective strengths at the St Nicholas Centre over the past few months. It’s such a great opportunity to enhance the support available to children, young people and families across our local communities.
Creating greater access to dedicated mental health services and a more joined-up approach to wellbeing is so needed. We have listened to our community and this collaboration is another step forward into ensuring family's journeys in life are happier, one step at a time.”

Verra Papaspyrou, CPC’s Chief Executive Officer, adds:

“I am very excited to be moving the CPC team into the St Nicholas Centre and to start the next chapter of our long journey.
Our roots lie in recognising the urgent need for affordable therapy within an area of significant deprivation, and I believe this ethos will be enhanced and further developed by working closely with FSN.’’

We are thrilled to announce that from 1st September 2026 we will be based at St Nicholas Centre (FSN), 66 London Road, St. Leonards, TN37 6AS, where we will continue to offer the same services alongside new colleagues.

Our new premises will provide disability access and additional on-road parking.

All counsellors and staff will continue in our new premises.

All contact details will remain the same.

Further information will be provided in due course to ensure all our clients are fully supported during this transition.

Co-locating with FSN will create a strong foundation for closer collaboration, enabling both services to strengthen their well-established offer of mental health support. Counselling Plus (CPC) will continue to provide effective therapy for young people and adults and the move will provide a secure base to develop further provision. 💛
