Watch out the builder Beavers are about!

What an amazing evening with the beavers, designing their own building and thinking about resources that they would need.

We spoke about the different types of building that we know of and what they are made out of !

The Beavers then made their own models of their buildings, think what they can use and if they could use something else if they did not have the resources. We then spoke about what worked and why they may have used something different.

Great creativity, teamwork and kindness all rounds
Well done beavers

Wow Squirrels

Squirrels enjoyed making their own volcanos, using different word to explain what was happing when they mixed the bar carbonate soda and vinegar together.

They also used their senses, to touch and feel to explore what was in the bags. They used their sense of smell to see if they can guess what was in the pots, last but at least they listened very carefully of what sounds they can hear such as a cow mooing, trains going pass (sounds were on a tablet)

Great job squirrels 🐿️🐿️🐿️🐿️

Tonight we took the cubs on a chocolate making extravaganza they created their very own chocolate bar with toppings from a variety of edible foods!

Some choosing savoury and some chose extra sweet!

We even managed to award the cub of the week. Which was very much deserved. Well done cubs now to detox as we have eaten far too much sugar in one evening.

See you next week
