6th Hastings Scouts

6th Hastings Scouts We have fun, adventures, make friends and gain Scouting is not just for boys and not just for kids! Squirrels Drey for children aged 4 to 6.

We are a Scout Group in Hastings for young people aged between 4 and 14 with an awesome army of volunteers leading 4 sections. Beaver Colony for children aged between 6 and 8. Cubs Pack for those aged between 8 and 10 and Scouts Troop for young people aged between 10 and 14. If you and/or your child are interested in joining us, please contact us for more details.

After they had finished they played a few team building games working together to get the hoop to the other side

What great fun the squirrels had learning about different air crafts for the air activity badge !

The squirrels all named some sort of air craft and we spoke about how they may work and what they are used for.

The squirrels then made their own paper aeroplane and designed them!

We had a game of let’s see who could throw them the furthest and a small game of Nut Nut Nut SQUIRREL

Learning about animals, having lots of fun in the indoors fire fox and splashing around in the pool to cool off . As team work, friendships and independence growing!!

This week 3 of our brilliant cubs were awarded their Bronze award which was completed during their Beaver journey.

The rest of the pack gathered round and discovered all the fascinating collections of collectables that our cubs have started to collect.
From Pokémon cards, fishing bits, crystals , mini animals figurines, aircrafts and squishy teddies. Alot of fun was had by all. ❤️🖤🐍🦅🐘
