Come along for some fun and PRIZES !!

It's Hastings Bonfire Night next week; Saturday 17 October. If you'd like to help with collections supporting the charity on the night, please send us a DM!

With just a over week to go before our event, our Torch making crew have been hard at work getting our torches ready. We are now at a point where all of our Torches have been made and dipped, they now have a few days to drain any excess fuel, ready to be bagged up and distributed for our torchlit procession. Well done to all involved with the Torch Crew.

Good morning all. Surviving Christmas needs you - well actually we need Santa! Is there anyone out there who might be interested/suitable for this role? Or, if you can think of anyone we could contact, that would be great too. Please DM us here, and we will get back to you.

Good afternoon all!!! It's the end of August, and we've been busy little bees all year, but now it's time for you to get involved as well. Our AGM and annual volunteers meeting will take place on Tuesday 27th October; 7pm at His Place Community Church in Robertson Street Hastings. If you'd like to be involved, but cannot attend the meeting, do please DM us here or indicate your interest by emailing [email protected]. We are looking forward to seeing you all again!

A huge thanks to the quiz teams at the Old King John in Ore - their combined efforts raised a wonderful £300 for Surviving Christmas! Many thanks to George Rankin for organising this. Here is a photo of the teams.

Do you need your tree collecting? Let Hailsham Young Farmers do it - and help us help others at the same time!

And it’s a wrap. You’d never know we’d been there. It’s been a tremendous month, so many people helping and so many people helped. Huge thanks to everyone who contributed in any way, and see you all next year.

Some of the entertainment provided by HOT Ukulele this afternoon!

Today was a more chilled vibe; we relaxed and enjoyed ourselves. HOT Ukulele entertained us, our fab chef Adam, assisted ably by Jonathan, produced an amazing Boxing Day feast for our wonderful guests. We are so grateful that we could provide our guests with another happy day, and we hope only that they enjoyed themselves as much as we did!

Well. And what a day it has been!!! It’s always emotional, always a rollercoaster, and always but always a joy. There are far too many people to thank individually, but to everyone who has helped us today, please know that *you* make this happen. And thank you. (All photos with permission)
