Come down to Winkle island tomorrow at midday and put a fiver towards this year's bonfire, and have a bit of fun at the same time. Marbles appeal to all ages, so find yourself a team of up to 5 people and come get involved!

Hastings Borough Bonfire Society invite the local community to their annual Christmas Carol Service at St Clement in Hastings Old Town at 7.30pm this Friday December 5th. This will be by the light of the Christmas Trees from the Christmas Tree Festival. Following this a few public houses may also be treated to carols by the society.

We are pleased to say that Hastings Bonfire 2026 will be on October 17th

The not so glamorous part of putting on an event like we had last night, when the absolute troopers that are the society members turn out Sunday morning to rifle through what's left of the bonfire to remove all the nails and any other metal that was in amongst that massive pile of pallets, as well as removing all the barriers and returning Pelham Place car park back to its regular form!

We hope everyone had a good night, we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. Thanks for coming!
