Have you ever wondered what wildlife is in your local green space?🍁

At Eco-Active Youth Club, we learn all about our wildlife, why conservation is so important, and what we as individuals can do to help!

What will you learn?📚
- How to use advanced technology to identify and monitor species
- Fieldwork skills useful for green careers
- Your local and national wildlife
- How to campaign for nature
- How to connect with our environment and help out

Where are we based?📍
1) One Garden Brighton
2) Alexandra Park, Hastings

When?⏰
10am-2pm, every Saturday, alternating locations

Who is it for?👥
Any young person aged 11-16 who is interested in nature, the outdoors, being active or simply wants to meet new people and have fun together exploring our environment.

Join us this October half-term for our jam-packed active outdoor education sessions!🥾

TIMETABLE
Day 1: Wildlife trail camera small mammal survey, bird boxes and mushroom hunt
Day 2: Review trails cams and acoustic bird identification survey
Day 3: Bugs, ponies and hiking
Day 4: Seal survey and creating homes for critters

Here's what's included:
✅ Free Lunch – Delicious and healthy, every day.
✅ All Tech Provided – Just bring your curiosity!
✅ Expert-Led – Sessions guided by passionate professionals from naturebytes CIC.
✅ Free for Eligible Students – CRF-funded places available!

Listen to our completed Seven Sisters Soundscape! 🔉

Built from a majority of natural noises from Friston Forest and the Cuckmere River, our Eco-Active group curated a range of creative sounds using natural materials to emphasize an immersive experience being in the 🏞️

Amazing work by our young people, creating a calm, textured and visually satisfying depiction of the Seven Sisters. If you ever need 2 minutes of the Seven Sisters, come and rewatch whenever you like!💚
