What better way to spend the weekend, than completing your DofE Expedition!

This weekend some of our cadets and cadets from 88 Battle Sqn joined the Sussex DofE team to complete their bronze DofE expedition. Fun was had by all! Big thanks to all the volunteers for their hardwork in arranging the weekend. every activity and opportunity the cadets get is solely down to the hardwork work of our great adult volunteers.

The Duke of Edinburgh award is just one of many amazing qualifications on offer with this fantastic organisation!

*** BIG NEWS! ***

After having stepped in temporarily nearly 2 years ago Flt Lt Karl Cloutt has now stepped down as Officer In Command of 304 Sqn. Thank you Karl for all your hard work and effort in persevering and keeping the Squadron going in some trying times. Flying Officer Nick Letherby has been appointed as our new Officer In Command and we look forward to a new beginning for the squadron. Nick has previously served at several other squadrons in Sussex and having had some time away from the organisation, returns to help re build our great squadron.

The Squadron building is now completed and snagging has been finished, we are now left with the final few bits to finish and paperwork to complete before we will be heading home! The official Opening Ceremony will be Monday 5th October (details to follow to those who haven't received them), with a full return for all cadets and staff as of Friday 9th October.

We would like to personally thank all cadets, parents, staff and friends of 304 for the commitment and perseverance over the last 5 years. It's been hard, but we are almost at the finish line
