Huge thanks to the Haslemere Thespians for their donation of opening night tickets to their upcoming production of Jack Absolute Flies Again for our clients. Huge thanks to the The Prince Of Wales Hammervale for a fabulous quiz night this week - the Camelsdale Fat Dads were the winning team for the second time in a row and generously donated their winnings to the Haslemere Food Bank. Thank you so much to them! The food bank volunteers put together a team and came a very respectable second! Huge thanks as always to Becky and Nick for their ongoing support.

We’re firm believers that you can never have too many Easter eggs, even if the Easter celebrations have finished! Huge thanks to the team at Moorlands Lodge Care Home - Avery Collection for their generous donation today. They are always super supportive of the work that the Haslemere Food Bank does and we remain extremely grateful.

Huge thanks to both Woolmer Hill School and Procare for their generous donations of Easter eggs. - our clients loved choosing chocolate eggs for themselves and their children today. Thanks too to Sandy Cannon and to all those who donated eggs over the last couple of weeks. We are very grateful.

Huge congratulations to Aileen Assender who was recognised this evening for her enormous contribution to the Haslemere Food Bank over the past 12 years. Aileen has been the Treasurer for all this time - she spends hours each week completing all the necessary paperwork for the charity commission and local authorities, managing all the payments in and out and ensuring that the books balance and funds are spent wisely and appropriately. Not only that. You will see her at the food bank helping out most weeks of the year too. We have been so lucky to have her support and we are super proud of her this evening. She thoroughly deserves the recognition. Congratulations Aileen!
