Haslemere Food Bank

12/10/2026

There’s a common misconception that the Food Bank only offers food packages. Recognising that food poverty can often be just the tip of the iceberg, the Haslemere Food bank does what it can to help in other ways too.

The Food Bank is open every Wednesday and Friday, 10-12, at the Methodist Church in Haslemere, and it’s a safe place to refuel with a free breakfast and chat with our volunteers. If you are struggling, there are pathways available through the food bank to enable you to access other local support. From free financial advice to complimentary counselling, our volunteers can help signpost you to resources you may not know exist.

If you or someone you know is in need, head to our website to find out how to access support.

If you need help and would like to request a food pack, please follow these steps below. Remember you are not alone, we are here to help you and your family.

A huge thank you to The Den Youth Group who, yesterday evening in Haslemere Tesco, filled trolleys full of donations for the Haslemere Food Bank. Each child chose items which they purchased to go in the trolley. And they then encouraged other shoppers in store to purchase one extra item to put in the trolley too. Thanks to the generosity of Tesco shoppers, they managed to fill multiple trolleys with much needed store cupboard essentials. Thank you to everyone who took part and who donated.

Huge thanks to the children from Shottermill Junior School who helped out at the Haslemere Food Bank this morning. All the children are on the school council and came to learn more about what the food bank does and how the school can help. Their assistance this morning was invaluable - between them the children marked up a dozen crates of food ready to put on our shelves to distribute. Thank you! ❤️
