We’re so excited to welcome our families back to Baby Beyond from Tuesday 8th September!

Come along for a relaxed morning with your little ones — a chance to play, meet other families, have a chat and enjoy some lunch together. 🥰

✨ Completely FREE to attend
👶 For families with children under 3
🧸 Run by our qualified Level 3 nursery practitioners
☕ Free hot drinks for adults
🥪 Free lunch for adults AND children
📅 Every Tuesday during term time

👏 18 staff members. 2 days. One very important skill! 👏

Over the last two days, 18 members of our amazing team have completed their full Paediatric First Aid training, ready to support and care for the children at The Ark for the next 3 years. ❤️

A huge thank you to the amazing Tony from TJ Training for making the training so engaging, practical and hands-on. We’ve learnt so much, had plenty of opportunities to put our skills into practice, and honestly, we’ve all enjoyed it so much! 🙌

Knowing that our team is confident, knowledgeable and prepared to respond in an emergency is so important to us, and we’re incredibly proud of everyone for completing their training. 🥰
Well done, team! ❤️ And thank you, Tony, for making first aid training such a great experience! 🌟

🌟 That’s a wrap on Ark Xtra Summer 2026! 🌟

What an amazing summer we’ve had! 💙

This summer we hosted 16 Ark Xtra sessions and 8 Ark Xtra Wellbeing sessions, filling an incredible 240 spaces across the programme! 🎉

Over our four themed weeks, we explored:

🐾 Animals
🌊 Under the Sea
🚗 Transport
🚀 Space

Every session included baking, arts and crafts and a themed story, alongside plenty of opportunities for play, exploration and fun. And, of course, we made the most of the sunshine with A LOT of water play! 💦☀️

We also provided a meal for every child attending, so everyone had plenty of energy for all the fun!

A huge THANK YOU to every child and family who joined us. ❤️ We hope you’ve had a fantastic summer — we know we have!

We’d also like to say a huge thank you to Essex ActivAte for kindly funding these sessions and making them completely FREE for our families. 💙 Your support has helped us provide so many children with a summer full of fun, friendship, food and fantastic experiences.

Today was our final session, and now our wonderful staff team can enjoy a very well-deserved summer break. 🌞

Thank you for making Ark Xtra Summer 2026 so special. We can’t wait to see you all again!

Whether you're looking to gain valuable experience in the Early Years sector, build your CV, explore a future career in childcare, or simply want to give something back, we'd love to hear from you!

💜 Today is the day! 💜
We'd like to wish our wonderful friend Sarah the very best of luck as she opens the Harwich Hive Community School Uniform Bank today! 🎉
This fantastic community initiative will provide free, good-quality pre-loved school uniforms to local families, helping to ensure every child has what they need for school.
We're also proud to share that our Nursery Manager, Jess, will be there this morning to lend a helping hand. If any of our nursery families with children starting school this September need support with school uniform, please do pop along and have a chat. We'd love to help make the transition to school that little bit easier.
A huge congratulations to Sarah for bringing this wonderful project to our community. We know it's going to make such a positive difference to so many local families. 💜
