It's Volunteers' Week 2026!

As a small charity, we rely heavily on our amazing team of volunteers who help keep our organisation running to the highest standards.

This week, we're celebrating our dedicated Board of Trustees, who generously give their time, expertise, and commitment to ensure our charity operates as smoothly and effectively as possible. Their guidance, passion, and unwavering support are invaluable to everything we do.

Thank you for all your hard work and dedication to our charity – we couldn't do it without you.

This organisation is stunningly good and needed. We're going to try our best to help. If any of our lovely friends and contacts can share funding ops and training ops with them it would be appreciated!

Hi all!

We’ll be back out in July - we cannot wait to see you and hand out lots of flip flops!

We do have a favour to ask though… could anyone point us in the right direction for funding opportunities?

Funding is vital to keep our essential items stocked up, new uniform ordered, training provided and all other things that are part of WSW Boro!

Message us or let us know in the comments of anything we can apply for! We have tried Greggs Foundation btw but we are not eligible.

Creative Minds would like to thank our friend Colin Barber for a lovely donation today. We wanted to support fellow musicians pay their respects to a friend they all lost recently, so we lent them some equipment, as is our way.

Colin returned the kit today and popped some money into our Asda young person's fund. That's a few more lessons paid for for someone without the means to pay themselves.

We had the absolute pleasure of Fin swapping guitar with grunge band Beatnik and picking up the sticks for a drum lesson tonight!

Fin delivered his 1st ever teaching session to brand new student George!

That's two firsts in one day and Creative Minds could not be any more proud of both of them either!

Volunteering is at the very core of our values, and we really hope that Fin soon realises the immense sense of wellbeing and personal growth that teaching others returns tenfold!
