It's up to you, the public, to vote for the organisation you believe deserves the largest sum of money in our £25,000 Golden Giveaway.

The organisations are guaranteed at least £500, but the more votes they receive, the more money they could receive to support their cause.

The organisation with the most votes will receive a fantastic £5,000. Those voted in second place will be given £2,500, third will receive £2,000, and fourth place receives £1,750 while the remainder will walk away with either £1,500, £1,000, £750 or £500.

Very exciting 💚

Our Golden Giveaway panel met yesterday and selected 20 worthy groups from across the region, who will each receive at least £500.

Thank you to Angela Turley MCIM for hosting the event at patron AV Dawson Limited, and Justine Cook from platinum patron Cleveland Cable Company Ltd , Karl Pemberton from patron Active Chartered Financial Planners, Emma Simkins from patron Attis Insurance Brokers Ltd and Lee Elgie from patron Gallagher for carrying out the difficult task!

🌱✨ Our Community Garden is Really Starting to Take Shape! ✨🌱

Thanks to The Catherine Cookson Charitable Trust and their generous donation, our community garden is really starting to come to life!

There’s still lots to do and plenty more to add, but wow – what a fantastic space this is going to be. Seeing everything come together is so exciting, and we couldn’t have done it without their support.

We can’t wait to invite our young people and families to get involved with planting, designing, and helping to develop the garden into a little oasis for everyone to enjoy. 🌻🌿

This will be a space to learn, grow, relax, connect, and create lasting memories together as a community.

A huge thank you once again to The Catherine Cookson Charitable Trust for helping us turn this vision into reality. 💚

On Sunday morning, after a very early drive, we welcomed 6 battery hens home! After a few days of settling into the coop, today was the girls first day of freedom and sunshine !!! It was simply wonderful to watch them take their first few tentative steps into a new life!

Please don’t ever quickly just grab the cheeper caged eggs on the supermarket shelves!’ This is the outcome of the very few rescues. 1000s more are simply incinerated at 18 months old, when egg production slows, without ever getting a second chance in life!!!

One thing we don’t promote is keeping just one of any animal that should be in a herd or flock. So, when we got a phone call to say could we take Gaston or he would of gone to slaughter…. Is anyone supprised Keith now has a new bff !
