Nature has really helped the settling in of the new plants and existing ones in the Jubilee Garden! The rain has been quite warm and gentle, which is a perfect way to give the beds a boost. 👏🏻👏🏻

A quick PS to my last post. Many of the Alium bulbs we planted flowered, but didn’t last long as it’s been so hot. Their next flowering cycle should bring wowzer blooms!

As you can see the beds in the Jubilee Garden need a bit of tlc. From noon this Saturday, 10th May, the Friends will be weeding, watering, and doing the 2nd planting in readiness for summer and all the seasons which follow. We’ve got some cracking new plants to go in as well! 😍

The Fab Five from the Friends Group who attended the ‘do’ yesterday evening. What a team!

A small but perfectly formed group from the Friends enjoyed a lovely ‘Thank You’ do in the Great Barn at Headstone Manor along with other reps from Harrow Parks. It was a great opportunity to catch up with other park people and was well compèred by Desiree, who ensured the speakers all kept to time! Brava 👏🏻👏🏻!

At least the Litter Picking event is going ahead - hurray!

Some sad news; we have had to postpone the Planting Event on Saturday 5th April due to supply issues. But on the bright side it’s only postponed, not cancelled - so as soon as possible, we will be giving out a new date for this event! 🌞🌞🌞
