🚨 VOLUNTEERS NEEDED – AGED 20+ 🚨

1454 (Harrow) Squadron is recruiting Civilian Instructors to support and develop the next generation of over 100 Air Cadets.

No military experience required. What matters is consistency, reliability, and the willingness to contribute.

We are specifically looking for volunteers with skills or interest in:
• Social Media
• Sports
• HR & Administration
• Teaching & Training
• Stock Taking
• Event Management

📅 Commitment: Tuesdays & Fridays, and some weekends

You will be helping deliver training, support squadron operations, and give young people real opportunities to grow in confidence, leadership, and life skills.

This is not a passive role. If you want to make a tangible impact and can commit your time properly, you will get a lot out of it. If not, this isn’t for you.

Join us in the Town Centre on Sunday 15 February for the ‘Freedom of Entry Parade’
The Mayor of Harrow, Cllr Anjana Patel will lead a special Freedom Entry service at the war memorial in the Town Centre.

1454 Harrow Squadron and The Roxeth & Harrow Company Church Lads’ and Church Girls’ Brigade will exercise and celebrate their historical right to march from Greenhill Way to the war memorial in the Town Centre.

Tonight’s the Night! We are celebrating 85 years of 1454 Squadron and the Air Training Corps at our Squadron Annual Formal Dinner which is specially hosted at the RAF Museum in Hendon!

As our cadets and volunteers are making their way tonight to dine under the Wing’s of the famous Lancaster Bombe, we will be joined by the Mayor of Harrow, the Deputy Lieutenant, Senior Volunteers from Middlesex Wing and our Alumni - of whom we can’t want to see.

We also have a very special announcement which will be happening at the Dinner, so stay tuned for more on our socials as well as photos from the event.
