Endometriosis Awareness Month this year has been nothing short of incredible.
I don’t think I’ve ever seen the condition spoken about so openly and widely. From the news, to newspapers, to social media, it has truly felt like endometriosis is finally starting to be recognised and understood on a much larger scale.
One of the most special parts of this month has been connecting with so many new people. It’s been amazing to see individuals, communities, and organisations all come together with the same goal, to campaign, raise awareness, and push for change.
My own contribution this month was hosting the Endo Gala, which was very intentionally planned during Endometriosis Awareness Month. It felt incredibly significant to bring people together at such an important time, not only to raise funds, but to amplify awareness when the spotlight is already beginning to shine on this condition.
It’s also been so encouraging to see businesses, both small and large, recognising endometriosis and taking steps to become more supportive and inclusive employers. This shows a real level of care, respect, and understanding for their teams.
As a woman living with endometriosis and navigating the challenges it brings in the workplace every day, it means so much to feel seen, heard, and supported.
And just because Endometriosis Awareness Month has come to an end, it doesn’t mean the conversation stops. We must continue to advocate, educate, and push for change every single day.
This month has been a reminder that progress is happening and we’re moving in the right direction 💛
