Another one of our fabulous walks towards our 105 mile target! We cheated a little bit! We caught the bus to Bilton and then walked to The Worlds End in Knaresborough, stopped for lunch, walked around Conningham Hall and then a bus back to the Vision Support Centre. 4.5 miles ticked off, well done everyone ❤️

White canes are recognized worldwide as symbols of independence. These slim tools pack a punch of empowerment for people living with low vision or blindness.

Fun Facts:

- Pencil, roller, and marshmallow are just a few of the names for cane tips that all provide different types of feedback.

- Today, some canes can integrate with AI and GPS to improve navigation.

Now that you know, pass it on!
