Our Summer Fair is tomorrow!

It's not really feeling very summery with this weather at the moment but we will make you feel fab with our warm welcome, fun games, bouncy castle, face painting, tea, coffee, cakes!

Come down and join us 12 til 3.

All monies raised going straight to Harrogate hospital to make improvements to the Special Care Baby Unit and Children's Ward!

Sweetie cones have been made ready for this weekends summer fair! Wonderful tombola and raffle donations are being collected! Tea and coffee has been donated! It's all shaping up to be a wonderful weekend :) we can't wait to see you all on Sunday!

🌸Your 6-8 Week GP check 🌸

You will be invited to a GP appointment six to eight
weeks postnatal. This time is for you, though it often
runs concurrently with your baby’s eight-week
examination to reduce the number of times you need
to attend the surgery whilst having a newborn baby.

Physical recovery - physical checks for you aren't
always needed but you can ask your GP for one if
you have any concerns.

Emotional well-being - This appointment is a safe
space to share how you have been feeling, and any
worries or anxieties.

Pelvic floor health - Discuss the health of your pelvic
floor. Do you have any bladder or bowel issues post
birth? If needed the GP can signpost for further
support.

Family planning - The GP will discuss contraception
options. Ask any questions you have around what
may be right and suitable for you

Our Engagement Lead, Hannah, is taking on the East Yorkshire Half Marathon this month to raise funds for the Special Care Baby Unit at Harrogate, which helped bring her twin boys safely into the world. 💜

The funds raised will help improve facilities for parents navigating their neonatal journey, providing much-needed comfort during some of the most challenging times.
