Hey everyone, looking forward to seeing lots of our young people and their families *today at 2pm until 4pm * for the family fun day / Big Birthday Bash! 🥳 It looks like the weather is being kind and forecasting it to stay dry ☁️

Please note, anyone under the age of 14 *must* be accompanied by an adult for the duration.

There will be a bake stall and we will be selling treats, it would be great if anyone fancies doing some baking to support us! 🍰 Similarly there will be a tombola stall, if anyone has anything you would like to donate. This is all to raise money to rebuild our hut, your ongoing support is greatly appreciated.

Tomorrow from 9am until 11am we’ll be serving breakfast butties in the scout hut, why not call in and treat yourself to breakfast. Eat in or take away, the choice is yours.

THANK YOU to all the young people who took part in the Junior Park Run this morning in Valley Gardens, you are all brilliant. A total for your sponsorship monies will be given separately.
Then another THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported us by buying a breakfast butty, we hope you enjoyed them. We raised £238.78 from the butties towards our rebuilding fund.

If you're joining us for the sponsored run at the Junior Park Run tomorrow, please meet us by the Valley Gardens cafe (by the boating lake) *at 8.45am* for a group picture before everyone sets off 🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️💨

If you arent joining us for the sponsored run, please do head down to the hut for a hot sandwich anytime between 9 and 11am! Feel free to share this with friends and family. Perfect for after dog walks or morning clubs 😋🍳🥓

All of this activity is to raise money to rebuild our hut, which you can also donate to directly via the linked Gofundme. If you aren't able to make it but could spare the cost of a sandwich and coffee, that would be much appreciated.

Whatever you are doing tomorrow morning why not call in at the Scout Hut for your Breakfast Butty and a cuppa.
The Junior Park run is being marshalled by the Scout Group and a lot of our members are taking part, so you could go to the Valley Gardens and cheer them along before of after your butty.

A huge thank you the young people, their parents, siblings and leaders for the Bag Packing and Tombola that was held at the Asda Store in Harrogate on Saturday and Sunday, they raised a massive £1140.38 toward the rebuilding fund. Thanks too to Asda for allowing us to use their store.

The annual group performance is next week, Tuesday 9th December, 6pm - approx. 7pm. The sections have been practicing their songs and sketches for your entertainment.
The raffle will be drawn so make sure you’ve returned your ticket stubs to have the chance to win one of these fantastic prizes.
