After more than 20 years of dedicated service, we will be bidding a heartfelt farewell to Heather, who is retiring at the end of April.
Heather has been an integral part of our nursing team, serving as Lead Practice Nurse and playing a vital role in delivering high quality patient care. With a special interest in diabetes management, Heather has made a lasting difference in the lives of so many patients, offering expert advice, support, and always delivering it with warmth and compassion.
Beyond her role in the practice, Heather has also contributed to the wider community through her involvement with the Primary Care Network (PCN) as part of the PCN Training Team, and in our Covid vaccination centre for the population of Harpenden. Her collaborative spirit and commitment have helped shape the care we provide across the network.
Heather’s kindness, professionalism, and dedication have left a deep impression on both patients and colleagues. She will be greatly missed, and we are incredibly grateful for all she has given over the years.
While we’re sad to see her go, we wish her all the very best in this exciting new chapter of her life.
