We are a small friendly club, who meet on the third Friday of each month to enjoy talks by a variety of speakers, including Paul Atterbury and Judith Miller from the ‘Roadshow’.

Hello Antique Lovers, almost Spring let’s hope a few blue skies instead of this constant rain. I really enjoyed last months Speaker Gary Lewis on Blue Plaques who would have thought so many famous people were within our midst.
This month is the highlight of the year !!!!!!
On 20/2 a dear old friend returns,
Yes PAUL ATTERBURY from the Roadshow is back!!! This time his talk is entitled:-
Rail Steam and Speed, Art of the Train.
So looking forward to this as I’m sure you are. He travels all the way from Weymouth just to speak at our club.
Come one, come all
You can pay on the door if you are not a member £8 which includes refreshments.
Honestly what value, a night to remember.
I look forward to welcoming you.

Celebrating my 7th year on Facebook. Thank you for your continuing support. We could never have made it without you. 🙏🤗🎉
So looking forward to our Party this Friday with our old friend Dean Ferris singing our favourite songs.
Thanks to Chris Halero Margaret Cole and Dorothy Crosby for putting the entire evening together we are really grateful for this huge effort on behalf of the committee and members alike. So looking forward to seeing you all.

Thank you to all that attended last months AGM. We were also happy to welcome our Speaker Ian Channell who’s talk on war artist Walter Spradbery was a real insight into this artist.

You have a real treat this month as we have Mark Scott Somerset Herald from College of Arms as Speaker. This will prove to be a real history lesson I am sure.

I’m looking forward to seeing you all

November will be our Christmas Party as December we are having another Roadshow Speaker Mark Smith

Hello Antique Lovers, hope you are enjoying the sun and Wimbledon!!!

Last months speaker Chris Parkinson was, as expected, a revelation in his presentation of Costumes in Historic Old Glass a real history lesson
This month on 18th July we are welcoming back Nick Dobson who’s talk is:-
Antique Posters on the Underground. I just love those Art Deco style ones so looking forward to that. So come and join us it’s £6 on the door which includes refreshments.
There’s a raffle and bring and buy table too. So come along and join us. Looking forward to seeing you all.

Hello Antique Lovers
Summer has arrived and I hope you are enjoying going to antique shops and fairs around the Country.
I thought last months speaker Sandra Lawrence gave us an excellent talk ….’Miss Willmotts Ghost’ was riveting.
We hope to have her again next year.
On 20th June we are welcoming Chris Parkinson. His talk is entitled :-

This promises to give us a glimpse into the past, so come along and join us.
