We are proud to announce the Harlow Mosque Open Day on 29th September 2024.

We invite people of all faiths and traditions to come along and visit our mosque.

Everyone is welcome...

Assalamualaikum (May Peace Be Upon You) 😊

On Saturday 4th September, the Harlow Islamic Centre opened it’s doors to the local community of Harlow as part of the Visit My Mosque initiative run by the Muslim Council of Britain 🕌

Activities on the day included a literature stall, henna, a poster exhibition, guided tours and more 🍰🎨🎈

We saw over 70 visitors to the mosque ranging from local service teams, faith leaders, councillors and residents 🌍

Calling all chess players in Harlow...

Fortnightly sessions to come along and play chess in Harlow, runs from Sept until Dec 2022

By the Grace of Allah Herts and Essex Helpers group (HEH) have teamed up with a local Maths teacher in Harlow to introduce and teach the strategy of chess to our children.

We are running a six week Parent and child course. Open to Mums and Dads.

Child must be aged between 9 - 16yrs.

‘’Chess is like a medicine to strengthen and relax the brain’’

Children can benefit from an experienced maths teacher applying mathematical logic in playing a game of chess.

Such classes are ordinarily in high demand and cost over £10/ hour.

We are offering these for no cost - we want to support the children of our community to have this type of skill to help them in life.

There are proven key benefits of learning chess:

1. Develops logic and critical thinking which is required in Maths at school

2. Increases concentration and Memory

3. Develops problem solving skills

4. Takes our children away from screens

By grace of Allah, we have started a new project to teach Chess in the community.♟️♟️♟️

Some of the benefits of chess include ♟️♟️♟️

We have setup a free 6 week beginners course for Mother and Daughter (girls aged from 9 to 16 can attend).🙋‍♀️🧕🙋‍♀️

The course will start from Sunday 23rd January 2pm - 3pm, every fortnight inshaAllah 🗓️📝

The course will be run at Moot House in Harlow.
