Little reminder. We hope to see you all today (Saturday 4th July) at the Museum and Walled Gardens for the archaeology fair from 11am-2pm. The event is a free drop-in for all ages to explore Harlow’s hidden history with Archaeology South East, local archaeologists, the Portable Antiquities Scheme Finds Officer, Friends of Harlow Temple and the museum team.

See incredible finds, including the Roman dodecahedron unearthed in Newhall, and speak to some of the archaeologists who worked on the dig. There will be children’s activities as well as delicious drinks available from local coffee cart Brownies.

Following on from yesterday's post regarding the Temple site's Scheduled Monument status, we thought we would do another, in order to help clarify and inform the public about what this actually means, in slightly more 'layman's terms.'
