π Supporting One of Our Own π
At the end of June, Happisburgh Lifeboat crew member Jon, alongside his friend Charlie, will be taking on one of the UK's toughest endurance challenges β the legendary Bob Graham Round.
The challenge involves covering 66 miles (106km), climbing over 8,500 metres of elevation, and summiting 42 of the highest peaks in the Lake District β all within 24 hours.
Jon is undertaking this incredible challenge to raise funds for RNLI Happisburgh Lifeboat. As many of you know, our station is run entirely by volunteers who are ready to respond at any time, day or night, to help those in danger at sea.
This challenge is Jon's way of giving something back to the station, the crew, and the wider RNLI family who dedicate so much to keeping people safe.
We know the determination, commitment and teamwork this challenge will require, and everyone at Happisburgh wishes Jon and Charlie the very best of luck as they prepare to take it on.
