Spinney hedge maintenance - update

✔️ all mulched
✔️ all weeded
✔️ watered - thanks to rain fall (only light fall), though more, and (expected) heavy downpour tomorrow. As such, I think we're all good for a week

The plants are looking healthy and growing well.

We propose the next water event to be on Saturday 20/6, in the morning - 09:30 to 11:00. Please confirm your availability, thank you very much in advance.

Good afternoon

🌳 In the Spinney - re hedge plants
Rainfall has been very good over the past few days. The forecast, from this Thursday, looks to be mostly dry and sunny until next Saturday 30th.

Please can you help us this Saturday 23rd - 3pm to 4:30pm?

Aim to:
1 water the 5 oak trees with 20L (2 x black containers) per plant (10 containers to be filled in advance and transported on quad/trailer to tree destination/s)

2 continue with weeding (downwards from the green bin) – docks, nettles and brambles

3 there’s a pile of chippings. Please fill bags half full and wheelbarrow/quad to site and spread all around/behind plants aiming to supress weeds. Aim to cover all plants if possible

4 any missing canes and guards – please replace – there’s a small supply

Please bring a pair of gloves suitable to wear if mulching, and/or to protect you from nettles, brambles etc.

We hope you can help us this Saturday 23rd - 3pm – 4:30pm.
