1️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ women and girls. One powerful movement. πŸ’™

We started Ignite Your Power CIC with a simple but fierce belief- that every woman and girl deserves to feel safe, strong, and confident. This weekend, we hit a milestone that still gives us goosebumps: over 1,000 women and girls have now attended one of our in-person self-defence and personal safety sessions.

For women. By women. For every woman who showed up nervous and left empowered. For every girl who found her voice. For every moment of "I can do this."

This is just the beginning. πŸ”₯
Thank you to every single person who has attended a workshop, shared our sessions, and believed in what we're building here in Hampshire and beyond. You are this movement.

Today we have our second Reclaim Your Power event. This time at Rucstall community centre in Basingstoke.

We have a room full of nearly 40 women who will be taking part in some amazing sessions this afternoon including:
- Self Defence
- Hypnotherapy & meditation to build our confidence
- Personal Safety
- Mental Resilience session

We would like to thank SNG for the funding to run this event.

The nights are getting darker now… but that shouldn’t mean we feel like we have to stop going out, stop walking, or change the things we enjoy doing just because we don’t feel comfortable being out alone.

Our worlds shouldn’t get smaller just because the evenings get darker. πŸ’™

That’s exactly what Walk Without Fear is about.

Bringing women together. Walking side by side. Chatting, connecting and reminding ourselves that there is strength in numbers and power in community.

The day after teaching our Women's Self-Defence Instructor Course… and I'm still buzzing. ✨

I had to jump on here and share my thoughts with you, because honestly? The last few days have been some of the most powerful and meaningful of my journey with Ignite Your Power CIC.

Watching women step into their strength, find their voice, and walk away ready to teach others β€” there are no words. πŸ’™
