Perfect for spending time in the Wildlife Garden, All Saints Denmead from 10.30 today and a great way to keep warm too!

Mike is there from 10.00 preparing hot drinks in the Heath Room.

Our ladybirds continue to fly home to us!

Over the weekend 3 more returned. They were found nestled in a raised bed with the green manure peas and the other in a large plant pot at the Community Garden located at the Denmead Community Centre. The third one was resting in the wildflower bed at the Wildlife Garden, All Saints Denmead.

Keep looking everyone so we can have them all home for the winter!

Yesterday we had wonderful weather for the Denmead Community Garden work session, and it was a hive of activity!

The volunteers picked and tidied the tomatoes, squash and the solitary pumpkin, with Terri and Elizabeth planting raspberries.

We also created a sectioned circular bed and planted beetroot, carrots, kale and lettuce.

At the trial garden we have lifted the path tiles and began to dig it over.

Our time was fruitful and the produce from the garden was distributed amongst the group who joined us yesterday.

We're back on the 16th to finish off. Be sure to add the date to your diary! See you at 1.30pm at the Community Garden, located at the Denmead Community Centre, School Lane.

The Denmead Community Garden will meet on Friday, the 2nd October, at the Denmead Community Centre from 1.30-3.30 pm.

After the much needed recent rain, there will be plenty of gardening jobs to keep the garden tidy as we prepare for autumn.

There is sunshine and warm temperatures forecast for Friday, so why not pop along to join the team and to enjoy a chat as well?

Don't forget your gardening gloves!

Ladybird update! 🐞 🐞 🐞

10 more have flown home to the Wildlife Garden.

Keep looking when you're out enjoying a stroll around the village and return your ladybirds to either the Wildlife Garden located at All Saints Denmead or the Community Garden at Denmead Community Centre and place them in the garden.
