RUN FOR RYAN 2026



Saturday, Mar 7th, 2026 at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM GMT

Ryan McCabe was the most loving and treasured husband of Roisin. He was also a son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend, but above all, he was the greatest Dad to Cameron, Keir and Jacob. Ryan was also a brave leader. He was held in high regard for the way in which he impacted the recruitment industry by revolutionising the way video tech could be utilised in order to aid the process of recruiting.

Tragically on the 22nd of June, 2024, Ryan lost his life suddenly in a motorbike accident. He was 35 years old.

There are no words to describe the loss felt for someone who lived their life fearlessly, who loved beyond measure, and who gave his time freely and without question. Ryan was the greatest.

To honour Ryan’s memory, Run For Ryan is a 10km annual event which can be joined in person, or undertaken virtually from anywhere in the world and all money raised from the event will go to the Ryan McCabe Foundation, where it will then be distributed to multiple charities which Ryan supported.

We’re starting the year with a call for support!
Join us on Saturday 7th March at Chatelherault Country Park for our main in-person event. This year we also have a competitive 5km for 10–14 year olds, along with the junior Fun Run.

Can’t be there in person? Take part virtually!
Run your 10km from anywhere between 6th–9th March. Take photos, log it on Strava, do it in your PJs or while skipping – the choice is yours!

All I ask is that you sign up, whether you’re taking part or volunteering. I need you, and your support means everything ❤️

We are going to walk the route 1 week today (Sunday the 2nd) at 10am for anyone want to join us get a better understanding of the route and do our part clearing anything from the route that we can

We very much appreciate all who’s bought a in person place,virtual place, donated or volunteering to help out it really wouldn’t be possible to do without the help
